First, let me explain what a squidoo lens is. Squidoo.com is a web 2.0 website that allows you to post your content for free and a squidoo lens is what they call your content. It's also one of the things we teach about in the Renegade Professional training area.

If you go to google.com and type in the key word phrase web 2.0 social marketing you will find my article there on the first page and as of this writing it is in the number 8 position.

You can also find me with many other search terms. I can do this with almost all competitive search terms and it don't take long to get there. This particular article was on the first page within hours of posting and is already bringing me in leads.

Squidoo is only one of the places that we teach about there are several more, another example is hubpages. By posting your content on more than one site you can really harness the power behind this type of marketing. When you link your content from squidoo to your content on hubpages and someone finds your squidoo lens on google and follows your link to hubpages you will be rewarded for bringing more traffic to hubpages thus bringing your ranking up on their site so more of their members will see your content. Believe me when I say they have a lot of members.
